about

Surge narrates the inner dialogue with our demons as we navigate the complex world of anxiety. Our mind and thoughts are always with us regardless of how much we attempt to outrun them and the struggle to find solace by turning to these demons may ultimately help us coexist with them and emerge from a surge of anxiety. The song is driven by drums and guitar riffs, alongside an electronica arrangement. Surge is the second single off our forthcoming album “A Sense of Impending Doom”.

lyrics

From the outside
I see myself falling down
Hitting the ground
Come around and sit beside me
Undermining my will
Take away my sense of self

From the outside
Surge
From the outside
Surge

In the deepest corners
I turn to you
My demons
Where darkness invites the light

Conjoined
Nerve
Only one of us will die
Severed
I can’t outrun you
Severed
You

From the outside
Surge
From the outside
Surge

In the deepest corners
I turn to you
My demons
Where darkness invites the light

In the deepest corners
I turn to you
My demons
Where darkness invites the light
