Over the course of the past six months, “Panic” was developed as a concept album in an attempt to describe a panic attack in musical terms. We asked ourselves the question: “If we had to write an album to describe such an attack, what would it sound like?” The result was a collection of songs that took us back to our metal roots when we developed songs based on guitar riffs and drum patterns and blended them with our signature analog and electronic layers.

Based on our own experiences and as a means to better understand and face the various mental health challenges that may arise at some point in our lives, we subdivided a panic attack into nine distinct stages - from onset to resolution - where each stage is represented by a song. As such, the album takes the listener through a sonic ride, from the fast-paced, hard-hitting frantic opener "\v/hite", to the more delicate, cinematic-type pieces, such as "Parallel ||".

We'd like to acknowledge our dear creative partner, Alexandra Baxe, without whom this album would not have been completed. Not only did she become the visual identity of the album, but she also provided invaluable artistic feedback and continues to inspire us to experiment and make authentic and unapologetic music.
